Zhi Shi Shao Yao San

Pattern: Stagnation in the abdomen with underlying deficiency

Key Symptoms: Abdominal pain after childbirth with irritability and fullness such that one cannot lie down
Secondary Symptoms: Pus filled abscesses

Abdomen: Painful and full


Ingredients

Zhi Shi 30g (charred)
Bai Shao 30g


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Move the Qi, harmonises the Blood, moderates acute abdominal pain



Notes:
Grind equal amounts and take 7 spoonfuls with wheat porridge.

This is Si Ni San without Chai Hu taking its focus away from Shaoyang and by taking with porridge, focuses on the Stomach and Spleen.
