Pattern: Heart Blood deficiency due to weak constitution or debilitation in the wake of illness

Key Symptoms: Palpitations with anxiety, insomnia and forgetfulness
Secondary Symptoms: Wan and withered complexion

Tongue: Slightly red
Pulse: Deficient and frail

Dang Gui 9g
Sheng Di Huang 9g
Shu Di Huang 9g
Fu Shen 9g
Ren Shen 12g
Mai Men Dong 12g
Suan Zao Ren 12g
Bai Zi Ren 6g
Wu Wei Zi 6g
Zhi Gan Cao 3g

Preparation: Decocted with Deng Xin Cao and Lian Zi.

Actions: Nourishes the Heart, calms the Shen

Contraindications: Focus is on Blood on Essence and not suitable for enriching body fluids
