Pattern: Severe Liver Qi Constraint with Clumping and Spleen Deficiency, Blood Deficiency and Blood Stasis

Key Symptoms: Intense hypochondriac pain, irritability, insomnia, fatigue, stifling sensation in the epigastrium, reduced appetite, loose stools
Secondary Symptoms: Commonly used for chronic hepatitis and early stages of cirrhosis.

Chai Hu 12g
Bai Zhu 12g
Xiang Fu 9g
Dang Shen 15g
Ze Xie 9g
He Shou Wu 12g
Dan Shen 12g
San Qi 3g (powdered)

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Dredges the Liver Qi, regulates the Spleen, nourishes and invigorates the Blood.
