Pattern: Massive febrile disorder obstructing of the Upper Jiao with Wind, Dampness and Heat

Key Symptoms: Massive febrile disorder of the head with severe swelling of the face and neck, chills and fevers, thirst

Tongue: White greasy coating
Pulse: Wiry, slippery and rapid

Shi Gao 9g
Pu Gong Ying 12g
Lian Qiao 9g
Bo He 4.5g
Tao Ren 9g
Xing Ren 9g
Jin Yin Hua 15g6g
Long Dan Cao 9g
Sang Ye 9g
Lu Gen 30g (fresh)
Jiang Can 9g
Lian Zi Xin 6g
Zhi Mu 6g
Huang Bai 6g
Hua Shi 12g
Chuan Niu Xi 9g
Gua Lou 24g
He Ye 1pc
Zhi Zi 9g
Di Gu Pi 9g
Ou Jie 30g
Mang Xiao 4.5g
Mei Hua Dian She Dan 4pcs

Subsitutions:
In the UK many of the ingredients must be replaced. Some suggestions include:
Jiang Can == Tian Ma + Tian Zhu Huang
Hua Shi == Chi Fu Ling + Ze Xie
Shi Gao is harder to replace but perhaps a higher dose of Zhi Mu and Huang Lian might suffice.
Mei Hua Dian She Dan (Plum Blosssom Dotted Tongue Special Pill) is a formula that consists of many heavy metals and is considered obsolete so avoided in contemporary use.

Actions: Clears Heat, drains Fire, dissipates clumps, resolves toxicity
