Category: Formulas that Regulate Qi

Pattern: Cold form deficiency of the middle Jiao

Key Symptoms: Vomiting long after eating, a sense of firm fullness in the epigastrium, fatigue, weakness
Secondary Symptoms: Lustreless complexion, emaciation, either dried stool like sheep droppings or scanty loose stools

Tongue: Pale with little or thin white coating
Pulse: Thin and weak, or deficient and lax

Zhi Ban Xia 15-30g
Ren Shen 9g
Honey 9-15g

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Harmonises the Stomach, augments the Qi, nourishes what has become dry
