Category: Formulas that Warm Interior Cold

Pattern: Wind-Cold-Damp Bi due to Yang deficiency

Key Symptoms: Pain throughout the body with inability to rotate the body
Secondary Symptoms: hard stools with normal urination and no thirst or nausea

Pulse: Floating, thin and moderate



Ingredients
Bai Zhu 12g
Zhi Fu Zi 12g
Sheng Jiang 9g
Zhi Gan Cao 6g
Da Zao 12pcs

Subsitutions:
In the UK Fu Zi must be substituted. For Bi disorders the best replacement is Gui Zhi and Xian Mao.



Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Warms the Channels, disperses Cold, builds up the Middle Jiao, promotes the resolution of Dampness

Contraindications: Hard stools caused by Heat or Yin deficiency
