Pattern: Depletion of Kidney Yin, Essence and Marrow

Key Symptoms: Lightheadedness, vertigo, tinnitus, soreness and weakness in the lower back and legs, spontaneous and nocturnal emissions, spontaneous and night sweats, dry mouth and throat, thirst

Tongue: Red and shiny
Pulse: Thin, rapid

Shu Di Huang 24g
Shan Yao 12g (dry fried)
Shan Zhu Yu 12g
Gou Qi Zi 12g
Chuan Niu Xi 9g (wine washed)
Tu Si Zi 12g
Lu Jiao Jiao 12g
Gui Ban Jiao 12g

In the UK the following substitutions must be made:
Lu Jiao Jiao == Rou Cong Rong + Xu Duan
Gui Ban Jiao == Sheng Di Huang + Shu Di Huang

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Nourishes the Yin, enriches the Kidneys, fills the Essence, augments the Marrow

Contraindications: Excess Heat. Caution in Spleen and Stomach deficiency
