Pattern: Damp-Heat in the Channels

Key Symptoms: Heat and pain in the joints, reduced mobility, fever and shaking chills, lustreless yellow complexion, scanty dark urine

Tongue: Gray or yellow greasy coating

Fang Ji 15g
Xing Ren 15g
Hua Shi 15g
Lian Qiao 9g
Zhi Zi 9g
Yi Yi Ren 15g
Zhi Ban Xia 9g
Can Sha 9g
Chi Xiao Dou 9g

In the UK the following substitutions are necessary:
Fang Ji == Yi Yi Ren + Hai Tong Pi
Hua Shi == Chi Fu Ling + Ze Xie
Can Sha == Cang Er Zi + Fang Feng.

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Clears and resolves Damp-Heat, unblocks the Channels, disbands Painful Obstruction
