Pattern: Externally contracted Damp-Cold during the summer time with pre-existing Spleen deficiency and Dampness

Key Symptoms: Fever and chills with relatively profuse sweating

Xiang Ru 9g
Huang Qi 6g (honey fried)
Ren Shen 6g
Bai Zhu 6g
Chen Pi 6g
Fu Ling 6g
Mu Gua 6g
Hou Po 6g (ginger fried)
Bai Bian Dou 6g (dry fried)
Zhi Gan Cao 6g

Preparation: Originally equal amount of all ingredients except double Xiang Ru are ground into a powder and taken as a draft. Can also be prepared as a decoction with the dosages given.

Actions: Releases Exterior Cold, transforms Interior Dampness, augments the Qi, strengthens the Spleen
