Pattern: Late stage Summerheat disorders damaging both the Qi and Yin due to excessive sweating

Key Symptoms: Spasms, excessive sweating, irritability and restlessness, wasting and thirsting

Tongue: Dry and cracked
Pulse: Submerged and thin

Ren Shen 4.5g
Wu Mei 0.9g (flesh only)
Mu Gua 2.4g
Shan Yao 9g
Lian Zi 3g

In modern practice Ren Shen is often substituted for Xi Yang Shen.

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Transforms the Yin to stop spasms, drains pathogenic Heat
