Pattern: Qi and Blood stasis in the lower abdomen

Key Symptoms: Inhibited menstruation with periumbilical or lower abdominal pain

Niu Xi 9g
Gui Zhi 9g
Chi Shao 6-9g
Dang Gui 4-6g
Mu Xiang 6-9g
Mu Dan Pi 6-9g
Yan Hu Suo 6-9g
Chuan Xiong 6-9g
Tao Ren 6-9

Preparation: Originally ground into powder and taken in 3g doses with warmed rice wine before meals.

Actions: Invigorates the Blood, disperses stasis, adjusts the menses, relieves pain.

Contraindications: Pregnancy.

Similar to Zhe Chong Yin but with slightly more focus on moving Qi than Blood.
