Pattern: Spleen deficiency complicated by Food Stagnation with stagnation predominant

Key Symptoms: Reduced appetite with difficulty in digestion, bloating and focal distention of the epigastrium and abdomen, loose and watery diarrhoea



Ingredients
Ren Shen 60g
Bai Zhu 60g (dry fried)
Chen Pi 60g
Mai Ya 60g (dry fried)
Shan Zha 45g
Zhi Shi 60g

Subsitutions:
Ren Shen is usually substituted for Dang Shen at 2-3x the dosage due to cost.



Preparation: Ground into powder and formed into pills with honey. Take 6-9g twice daily with warm water.

Actions: Strengthens the Spleen, reduces food stagnation, stops diarrhoea
