Pattern: Hot Focal Distention due to Heat pathogen without form collecting in the epigastrium

Key Symptoms: Focal distention in the epigastrium that is soft when pressed
Secondary Symptoms: All kinds of Heat and inflammation in the upper body, head and throughout the digestive tract, bleeding form the upper orifices, irritability, insomnia, Heat Excess rashes, sores and skin disorders.

Pulse: Floating in the middle position

Da Huang 12g
Huang Lian 6g



Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Drains Fire, resolves Toxicity, dries Dampness, treats Hot Focal Distention
