Shu Di Huang 96g
Huang Qin 48g (wine fried)
Shan Yao 48g
Bai Zhu 48g
Chuan Xiong 15g
Bai Shao 15g (wine fried)
Chen Pi 15g
Zi Su Geng 15g
Xiang Fu 15g
Du Zhong 15g
Xu Duan 15g
Zhe Bei Mu 15g

Preparation: Soaked the herbs in about 800g of sesame oil and cook over a low heat until they are slightly browned. Remove the herbs and add 400g of Qian Dan (or 250g of beeswax) while the oil is still warm.
Apply bilaterally to Bl-23 (Shen Shu) and secure in place with hypoallergenic plasters. Change once every 4-5 days.

Actions: Augments the Qi and Blood, tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, quiets the foetus
